Japanese Robotic Butterfly

I’m loving this concept. To all appearances, it looks like you have captured a butterfly in a glass jar. It responds to touch and sound, flitting around the inside on the jar.
Cruel perhaps unless it wasn’t a beautifully realised idea. 3 AA batteries are hidden inside the lid and the butterfly is attached by some kind of wire that responds to vibrations and sound.

Quite eerie really.

$79 and it’s yours, shipping September the 1st.

Meat Party !!

It’s always nice to know that your work is being appreciated, so I was pleased to see to hear from a guy in the US putting them to good use.

Ben Patton said ; “We had a lot of fun. Thank you so much for the letters. I’m so glad we didn’t use your Bollocks alphabet or it might have been a “real” meat party. Here are a few pictures so you get an idea of what we had going on. Among other dishes like Orange chicken, steak, ribs, hot dogs and so on, we had slop. Slop is the big ugly bowl of meat and beans my girlfriend made (who happens to be a vegetarian). It was delicious. The girls made a bacon dinosaur too. That’s me in the PETA shirt. Once again I appreciate the help!”

I don’t think Ive heard of having a Meat Party here in the UK. Sounds artery clogging fun !
