Jack the Ripper

Jack the Ripper

, originally uploaded by Jamie Durrant.

My costume for a recent fancy dress. The theme was Best and Worst of British. One of the funniest things of the evening was on my way home, dressed in full jack the ripper garb; A drunken teenage girl spied me across the road, standing outside a pub hanging off the bouncers. She spoke loudly to her bouncer friend, “Look at him, who does he think he is”. “You aint all that !”, She screeched across the road. I kind of see where Jack the Ripper was coming from…

Flyer designs

Here are the flyers I did for the LH party, starring Adelphi Road, The Cleaving Heevages and Soul Jam.

And another one.

I think I like this one more as it has better composition.

Another merging of a tilt shift (faked) image and figure.

Oakham Castle Little Planet

Today, I visited my brother and his wife in Stamford, Lincolnshire. We went out to the local village of Oakham, where I took this photo.

Invasion London

Just playing around with Photoshop CS3, mixing up some of the photos I have taken. (for your info, the photo of the Martian is taken in Woking, England where H.G.Wells wrote War of the Worlds)

Ideally, I’d have a few people looking up in horror and not just walking nonchalently by on their way to the tube.
